This Young Jackfruit is picked before its starch changes into sugar making it's neutral flavor and "meaty" texture a great meatless alternative. Most jackfruit contains preservatives and additives in a can, but this boxed jackfruit contains one ingredient only: jackfruit! Due to oxidation and no preservatives, our jackfruit is brown in color, making it even meatier in texture and appearance.

Potential Uses / Applications: Make some delicious jackfruit tuna melt sandwiches, jackfruit BBQ pulled pork style sandwiches, fish-free jackfruit tacos, jackfruit duck pancakes, jackfruit pot pie or shredded BBQ jackfruit pizza.
