Field Roast Italian sausages are made using traditional, tried-and-true sausage-making practices. They begin with a grind made from Field Roast's own grain meat, where they then add fresh ingredients including eggplant, sweet peppers, onions and garlic for authentic Italian flavors in every bite. The next step adds some rich red wine, and finally, they mix in the seasonings that include fennel seed, fresh garlic and voilà: an artisan plant-based sausage with sizzle, texture and personality!
Potential Uses / Applications: These sausages stand up on their own in a soft bun, or add to your favourite Italian dish. Create an Italian stew or gumbo, add sliced on pizza or toss into a comforting pasta dish with roasted tomatoes and garlic. Add to a delicious brunch hash with potatoes and zucchini or create BBQ skewers with peppers and onions.
