Comes in a 10lb bag packed in a box. Green Cuisine's tempeh is a nutritious and delicious low-fat plant-based protein made from fermented whole soybeans with reduced levels of phytates and trypsin. It contains all 9 essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It is rich in isoflavones that help reduce cholesterol levels. It is also alkaline, low in FODMAPs, and rich in prebiotic fibre, which promotes gut health. Green Cuisine's wide variety of tempeh is made with organic, non-GMO, Canadian soybeans.

Defrost in the refrigerator and cook within 2 days of defrosting. Cook to an interior temperature of 160F/71C. 

Dark spots on the tempeh are a natural part of the culturing process and do not indicate spoilage.
